Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally found in the body, abundant in areas such as the skin, ligaments and cartilage. It plays a key role within the extracellular matrix, important for skin health, particularly through its ability to retain water, making it an effective natural moisturizer. With age, from the age of 20, our body reduces its production of hyaluronic acid by 10% each decade, a degradation which can accelerate under the effect of environmental stress.

The application of hyaluronic acid by injection is done either at the level of the dermis for direct hydration and filling, or deeper to restore volume. The method varies between the use of a very fine needle and an injection cannula, depending on the desired effect and the area to be treated, thus allowing tailor-made results.

• Lips: Very popular, injections into the lips increase their volume, define their contour and ensure lasting hydration, for a natural and attractive finish.
• Dark circles: To combat the tired appearance of hollow dark circles, which tend to become more pronounced with age, the injections restore volume and vitality, significantly brightening the eyes.
• Cheeks: With age, the face loses its V shape, especially around the cheeks which sag. The injections reshape this area, restoring dynamism and youthfulness to the face, thus reducing the need for makeup such as blush.
• Nasolabial folds: These expression marks, which run from the nose to the mouth, are softened and sometimes eliminated thanks to hyaluronic acid, which restores the smooth surface of the skin in this highly stressed region.
• Marionette lines: Located on either side of the mouth, these lines give a severe appearance. The hyaluronic acid injection restores elasticity to the skin and fills in these hollows, for a softer and more harmonious face.
• Jawline and chin: For those wanting a more structured face, injections can define the oval of the face, strengthen the jaw line, and even reshape a receding chin, for a more balanced facial silhouette.
• Neck: Neck wrinkles, often indicative of age, are reduced by injections, which smooth out folds for a more youthful, unified appearance.
• Hands: With age, the skin on the hands becomes thinner, revealing veins and bones. Hyaluronic acid restores thickness and hydration, for visibly rejuvenated hands.

• The effect of the injections is immediate, providing a visible reduction in wrinkles and plumping of the skin, for a refreshed and rejuvenated face.

• On average, an injection costs €350, an investment that varies depending on the number of syringes and the type of hyaluronic acid used, adapted to the specific needs of each patient.

One week before the injection, it is not recommended to take high doses of vitamin E, aspirin, anti-inflammatories or anticoagulants. Before treatment, your practitioner should ask you about your medical history and should inform you of the indications, expected results, contraindications, precautions and potential side effects.

Our hyaluronic acid gels contain 3 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride to improve your comfort during the session and reduce pain.

This is a local anesthetic that can induce a positive reaction in anti-doping tests. In case of known hypersensitivity to lidocaine, and/or local anesthetics of the amino-amide type, we recommend not using these products.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are biodegradable. The duration of the effect may vary from one patient to another, depending on the area treated, the product and quantity injected and their lifestyle habits. Gel filler treatment may therefore require several touch-ups over time to achieve the desired correction depending on the area treated.

After injection, it is advisable not to put anything on your skin that is not recommended by your practitioner for 12 hours following the treatment, to avoid dental treatments, any other type of cosmetic procedure, prolonged exposure to the sun, UV rays, and extreme temperatures (intense cold, sauna, hammam, etc.), for two weeks following treatment.

These products are contraindicated for any other indication, in the event of a medical history (e.g. allergies, skin conditions, concomitant treatments or not), in pregnant or breastfeeding women, in children, and in the presence of other filler implants. Adverse effects may occur immediately after injection or delayed

• Common effects: pain at injection site, tenderness, redness/erythema, bruising/hematoma, swelling/edema, hardness/induration, lumps/bumps, itching, discoloration (including Tyndall effect/discoloration).
• Less common effects: inflammatory reactions, infections (including localized or generalized infections and abscesses), loss of sensitivity around the injected area or temporary paresthesia. Risk of allergy (including hypersensitivity, allergic eczema, urticaria), nodules (possibly granulomas), migration of the implant.
• Rare but serious side effects may occur: Intravascular injection may produce embolization, occlusion of the vessels.
